Since the profession is still very small and new, data is not included in wage and salary surveys. However anecdotal reports suggest that in the U.K., successful practitioners can earn as much as £86,000 or more, while U.S. earnings could reach $99,000. Most seem to average around $50,000 to $60,000 a year, but a skilled acupuncturist with a good client base can earn much more.
