If you work for a specific organization, that has people in need come to them, you will be working in that organizations building. Your work place is specific to what they want to give.
For example, if you work in a homeless shelter, you most likely will be working all over the building. There are also Business area's of the organization that you can work in. It can require long nights, and early mornings dedicated to those in need.
How much does a Humanitarian earn?
Depending on the organization you work for, your salary can vary. Usually your salary depends on your experience.
Salaries range from $20,000 a year to $100,000.
If this will be your way of income, contact the organization you would like to work for, to find out their wages for workers.
Although, most Humanitarian's do not believe in getting rewards in money, they benefit from helping others and money doesn't normally matter to them. Some would be fine working for almost nothing, just so they can help others. Most money from the organizations goes to fund the people they help, not the workers.
