Question
Was there a spark that kindled your interest before you ever seriously considered being a Financial Analyst?
Answer
First of all, studying Economics. That is what led me to the profession. However, that is not always neccessary, so I would say being organized and the wish to have a stable life, with a career going step by step.
I would say organization and patience. In most of the companies, information is spread and people rarely understand the complexity of the information you need.
Being able to understand the world in a different way, looking at a financial statement, for example.
Not really. I started at a multinational company and stated to get better in it. There is a world behind finance, so you can basically assume lots of roles: Financial Planner, Controller, Auditor... Normally poeple find themselves in one of these roles after entering a finance position in a multinational.
