Jenna thought being a publicist was OK

The job is about relationship management. If you are someone who enjoys navigating politics and talking to people, it may be a fit. That being said, I did not find the job to be stimulating intellectually. If you are the type who enjoys building things or intellectual puzzles, this is more about management then building, then I would not recommend it. Also, very dependent on type of public relations you do. For large corporations you are often always defending reputations and branding, which can be stimulating. On the consumer side with agencies, you are usually pitching, cold calling and acting as a liaison between brands and journalists.
